Digging into the body, the mind, machines, language, and history

60 years is too small if you only use it to chase wealth.

What if you're chasing wealth not because it's the most valuable thing — but because it's the only thing you know?

About

One habit: curiosity. Many directions.

I keep asking the same question about a lot of different things: how does this actually work? Applied to the body, it becomes muscle and nerves. Applied to the mind, it becomes psychology and decision-making. Applied to machines, it becomes AI and automation. Applied to speech, it becomes language. Applied to the past, it becomes history and ancient technology.

Training seven days a week, twice a day — a mix of calisthenics, olympic weightlifting, and powerlifting — I approach it the same way I approach building AI infrastructure: understand how it actually works first, then tinker with it.

Day to day, all of this gets put to use through Ranvil.ai — the agency I run myself, where a lot of the AI and automation experiments here actually ship to real clients.

Explorations

Things that make me curious.

Fitness

Strength & Movement

Training seven days a week, twice a day — a mix of calisthenics, olympic weightlifting, and powerlifting. The principle: don't specialize too early, build a broad base first.

  • Calisthenics + olympic weightlifting + powerlifting
  • Coming next: gymnastics, armwrestling, strongman, climbing

Human Body

Biomechanics & Neuroscience

What fascinates me: muscle biomechanics, neural drive (and how to speed it up), neuroscience applied to everyday life, and the nutrition angles most experts never bring up.

  • Muscle biomechanics & neural drive
  • Neuroscience for everyday life
  • Nutrition angles mainstream experts skip

Psychology

Decision-Making & Mind

Shaped by The Black Swan on uncertainty, Thinking, Fast and Slow on cognitive bias, and Becoming Supernatural on how the brain and body influence each other.

  • The Black Swan — Nassim Taleb
  • Thinking, Fast and Slow — Daniel Kahneman
  • Becoming Supernatural — Joe Dispenza

AI

Systems & Infrastructure

Building AI infrastructure from scratch, not just calling someone else's API. It actually ships through Ranvil.ai, the agency I run day to day.

  • Self-hosted LLM (Modal GPU) — tuned cold-start & context window
  • AI voice receptionist — SIP trunk + real-time TTS

Engineering

Build & Automate

I like breaking systems down into small pieces, then automating them — from video/motion graphics pipelines to multi-role business metrics systems.

  • Video/motion graphics pipeline — render time 45s → 7.6s
  • Business metrics automation — role-based, 5 roles

Language

Trilingual

Indonesian (native), English (day-to-day work), Arabic (still learning) — each language offers a different way of thinking about how people communicate.

  • Indonesian — native
  • English — professional/technical
  • Arabic — in progress

History

Ancient Civilizations

Ancient civilizations and the technology they used — how people thousands of years ago solved engineering problems without modern tools.

  • Ancient civilizations
  • Ancient civilization technology

Projects

Things I've actually built and run myself.

Ranvil.ai

Agency Platform

Problem: The agency needed client onboarding and a contact funnel that ran itself, without manual admin work.

Solution: A website with a branching onboarding wizard per service (AI/SMM/Web/SEO), invisible anti-spam protection, deployed on the edge.

Self-Hosted LLM Infra

AI Infrastructure

Problem: Third-party LLM API costs were uncontrolled for constant internal workloads.

Solution: Self-deployed 27-35B models on GPU cloud (Modal, L40S), with tuned context window and cold-start.

Cold-start down, monthly cost under control

Video & Motion Graphics Pipeline

Automation

Problem: Manual motion graphics production was slow and inconsistent on timing.

Solution: An automated pipeline (HyperFrames + GSAP) with frame-by-frame verification before final render.

Render time 45s → 7.6s

AI Voice Receptionist

Voice AI

Problem: Clients needed fast 24/7 response without adding staff.

Solution: A voice agent over SIP trunk + real-time text-to-speech, wired into the existing triage system.

Single-tenant, ready to deploy per client

Business Metrics Automation

Internal Tools

Problem: Larger clients needed a business metrics dashboard without full access to sensitive data.

Solution: A role-based system (owner/finance/marketing/ops/support) with 5-role JWT auth.

5-role auth, generic across clients

Now

updated 2026-08-29
  • Building this personal site
  • Adding gymnastics and climbing to the training routine
  • Migrating the internal LLM to a more efficient variant
  • Reworking the motion graphics pipeline for timing consistency
